How You Can Help

The popular Uncle Wilber fountain was a gift to the citizens of Colorado Springs. Its maintenance and operation costs, however, are publicly supported. As part of its commitment to creating this gift for the city of Colorado Springs, the Smokebrush Foundation agreed to kick off a non-profit group to raise the funding to keep Uncle Wilber flowing for years to come. This group is called the Friends of the Fountain Fund.

The Friends of the Fountain Fund has been busy raising money, but help is needed to achieve this year's budget and to get a start on next year's needs. Therefore, there are a variety of volunteer opportunities for Colorado Springs community members to get involved with these efforts with very little commitment.
